A little clay. A little bunny. A lot of heart.
About Puppy & Clay
Made by Hooman.
Loved by Bunny.
Hi, welcome to our little clay corner! Puppy & Clay is a small-batch ceramics studio in Vancouver, Canada. I make the pottery. Puppy, my bunny, supervises. From everyday bowls and dishes to pieces made with bunnies in mind, each creation is shaped, decorated, glazed, and fired by hand. Small variations make every piece its own.
Meet the bun behind the name
Meet Puppy. Yes, the bunny.
A bunny named Puppy? Yep, that’s our little boss. The name stuck because this little bun acts like a happy puppy, following me around and always wanting to be part of whatever I’m doing. My tiny, fluffy shadow.
Puppy keeps me company while I make things and pops up in plenty of our studio updates. There’s always something to sniff, somewhere to hop, and a hooman to supervise.
Have a custom piece in mind that you don’t see on the website? Send me a message on Instagram @puppyandclay. I’d love to hear your idea and see what we can make together!
